$20 piercings in the stockyards [13 Sep 2005|11:24pm]

charismasuicide
I've posted in the past giving endorsement to my body piercer. She has changed shops; however, so I thought I'd post some updated info. All piercings are still only $20 (including jewelry). I know her personally will vouch that the shop and procedures are sterile and profesional. I wouldn't go to her for piercings myself if I wasn't certain about safety and quality!

Victims Of Katrina Benefit Show [02 Sep 2005|11:27pm]

charismasuicide
[Stolen from the TexasPunk community and reposted.]

"Here are the details... Show will be Sunday Sept 11th @ the Red Blood Club. Bands are as follows:

Bloodline
4 o'clock GMT
The Charismatics
Dead City Shakers
Jump Boys

[Directons to Red Blood Club: here
2617 Commerce St
Dallas, TX 75226
Phone: (214) 653-1641]

Please bring money for donations. All proceeds are going to Red Cross. Though canned goods and water are excellent gifts for local charities, in disaster relief situations, they are not the most effective donations. With monetary donations Red Cross doesn't have to waste time sorting and shipping donations, so please, if you want to help, make a monetary donation at Redcross.org, or bring some to the show, or better yet, do both.

And please, repost this and spread the word, Lets get a huge turn out for this....

oh and verizon is matching all the profits 2 to 1. so if we get $1,000. they send $3,000 to the red cross. we can make a real impact. especialy for just a bunch of broke punk kids."

[I know there's no time posted. I'm going to presume it starts in the evening like most shows. If I find out more I'll update.]

    HELP!!! [22 Apr 2005|04:51pm]

    [ mood | distressed ]

Okay this is a long story. But if someone....ANYONE can HELP me...it would be sooo wonderful. My name is Jennifer I live in Maine. Yes waaaaaaay in the boondocks. Anyway, the man of my dreams is living in Texas and well I've been struggling to get to Texas so that I amy be with him. We have been waiting already for over a year. Well first of all, it "ain't" cheap to live in Texas. I was supposedly going to stay with my Aunt and Uncle but that doesn't seem to be working out. Right now it also seems like I can't stay with my love because of his parents. Yeah it's really complicated. Anyway, (I'm 18 btw) I'm currently enrolled in the University of Southern Maine. I will be transferring to either Baylor University or the University of Houston (where I get the money for that...is another problem). The problem? Well first of all, I don't have a place to stay. Second of all, I need a job. I was wondering if any of you could help me find possible job situations, or even cheap apartments. I am very desperate...I know true love can wait forever if it must. And if we have to we will. But, *sighs* I love him so much and I just want to be with him. It's hard...maybe some will understand and some won't. But what I'm asking you is to help me. I'm having a heck of a time job searching online. I'm also having a heck of a time searching for a place to stay. Now here's the scoop...I don't have a lot of money. So when I say cheap...I mean dirt cheap. Or perhaps a church's pastor could house me for a summer till I get into the college dorms. So I'm looking for two things A) a job that's reasonable (I'm willing to do ANYTHING even *shudders* Mcdonald's) and B) A place to stay.

Oh yeah and my work experience spans from coffee shops to owning my own music business to working for an animal shelter and amusement park

Please help me get to my love ^.^ thanks much

From all the way up in Maine,
    Jenn

Lovely ol' Texas. Hi there, just joined like a couple seconds ago (literally). What can I say? I love Texas, maybe because I lived here most of my life, but who the heck knows how my mind works.

A big wave to everyone who lives in Dallas. Anyone going to the Art Institute?
